World Courier (I) Pvt Ltd

We are tucked away in the Akshar Apartment building, specifically at Plot 157, 6th floor, over in Azad Society. This is in the Ambawadi area of Ahmedabad, which is usually quite busy with traffic and people moving about. Working for World Courier (I) Pvt Ltd means we see a lot of boxes and envelopes every single day. The office isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in. We have to move quickly to get things sorted and sent back out. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the local routes by heart. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so sometimes we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s a very hands-on job. There is always the sound of tape dispensers and people shouting out addresses. We don't have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and you'll see us busy at our desks or stacking crates. Ahmedabad gets very hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day long. It’s an honest living. We focus on getting the packages where they need to go without making a big fuss about it. That is just how we do things here in Ambawadi. It’s a regular office for regular workers. We always keep a few spare umbrellas near the door for the monsoon season because the rain can be quite sudden.
