Welcome Holiday Tourism

We are set up in Shop No.1 at Kavya Residency, right near the Shyamvadi Thakkarnagar canal. It’s a pretty lively area, especially with the water nearby and all the traffic going past. Our shop is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about their travel plans. We have some posters on the walls of places we’ve never actually been to, and maps that are starting to curl at the edges. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking about bus timings or train tickets. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens, trying to find a flight that isn't too expensive for someone’s holiday. It can get a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we’re always wiping down the desks. There’s a tea stall right around the corner, and we usually have a few cups a day while we work through the paperwork. It’s not a big fancy travel agency with a lot of staff. It’s just us here, answering questions and printing out itineraries for folks in the neighborhood. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the people go by the canal, and other days we can't even find time to eat lunch. It’s just how the tourism business goes in a place like this, keeping us busy.
