We are over at 9 Vijaynagar Society in the Ranip area of Ahmedabad. A good way to find us is to look for the Ramji Temple because we are right opposite it. Being near a temple means there is always something going on. You hear the bells and the people passing by all day. Our office is tucked away in the society. It’s an older building, so it has a bit of character, or maybe it’s just old. We handle the telecom and tech side of things from here. It’s mostly just wires, computers, and people trying to fix connections. Vsnl has been a name around for a long time, but here at this branch, we are just a small crew. We don't have those big glass walls you see in the movies. It is more about sitting at a desk and making sure the data is moving. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we still make it in. We take our tea breaks outside when the weather is nice. The neighbors are mostly families, so it feels very local and safe. We aren't doing anything revolutionary every single second. Most of the time we are just checking logs and answering emails. It’s a steady job in a nice part of Ahmedabad. We like the quiet rhythm of the Vijaynagar Society and the familiar sight of the temple every morning.
