Our office is located at D-136 in the Parash Prabhu Society, which is right across from Vishalnagar in the Isanpur area of Ahmedabad. It’s a residential society, but we’ve been operating out of here for quite some time. Logistics is a messy business, with trucks coming and going and trying to find parking in these narrow streets. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones, checking where a shipment is or why a driver is late. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for long. The office itself is quite simple—a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of logbooks. Isanpur is a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in. There’s a lot of dust from the road and the sound of traffic is constant. We don’t have a fancy sign or anything, just our name on the door. People in the society know us well by now. We deal with all sorts of goods and every day brings a different kind of problem to solve. Sometimes the rain makes the roads difficult, or a truck breaks down, and we have to figure it out on the fly. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things move from point A to point B. We just keep at it, day after day.
