Vodafone Call Centre Ltd.

This is the Vodafone Call Centre located at 2126/B over in Atabhai Chowk in Bhavnagar. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty loud with all the traffic and people moving around the chowk. We spend most of our shifts here with headsets on, talking to people from all over who have issues with their phones or their bills. It’s a lot of talking, honestly. The building isn't the newest thing in the world, but it works for what we need. We have rows of desks and it gets a bit cramped when the afternoon shift comes in and everyone is trying to log in at the same time. Sometimes the fans make more noise than the people on the phones. We usually take our breaks in small groups and go grab some tea or a quick snack nearby. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s steady work and the people here are mostly okay to work with. Bhavnagar is a bit slower than the big cities, but at the call center, it feels like the calls never really stop coming in. We try to help everyone out, even when the lines are bad or the system is running a bit slow. It's just a regular day-to-day grind for us at the chowk, keeping things running as best as we can manage with what we've got.
