We operate out of Ahmedabad, mostly handling things related to travel and places for people to stay. It’s a busy city, and there’s always something going on in the hospitality world here. Our setup is pretty simple. We have an office where we manage bookings and talk to different partners. It’s not one of those high-end places with fancy lights; it’s just a room with enough desks for the staff and a water cooler in the corner. We spend a lot of time on our phones and looking at spreadsheets. Gujarat is a big place, so we have to keep track of a lot of different locations and schedules. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when many things happen at once, but we just take it one task at a time. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just want to make sure the rooms are ready and the guests know where they are going. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a small break to talk about anything other than work. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we know the local area well. It’s just a group of us working hard to keep everything organized. We don't have a big mission, we just want to get the job done right every single day. The office gets a lot of afternoon sun, so we keep the blinds down mostly.
