Varuna Roadlines Limited is based out of 58 Ashutosh Park Society on Nani Kanal Road in Vastral. This part of the world is all about movement. We deal with trucks and roads and the heavy lifting that comes with moving goods. It’s a gritty business. There is always grease on someone’s hands and the smell of diesel in the air near the yard. We aren't a polished corporate firm. Our office is a place where we keep our logbooks and talk to drivers about where they’re heading next. The roads can be tough, especially during the monsoon, and we spend a lot of time worrying about schedules and mechanical issues. It’s a lot of work to keep things moving. We started small and just kept at it. We don't have a fancy mission statement. We just want to make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the trucks break down or the paperwork gets held up at a checkpoint. We just handle it as it comes. It’s a lifestyle, really, not just a job. We’re just a group of people who understand the road and the effort it takes to stay on it. Vastral is home for us, and we’re just doing our part in the transport world. The Nani Kanal Road can be a real mess when it rains, and we’ve spent many hours digging trucks out of the mud. It’s not a pretty job, but someone has to do it.
