Uttam Caterers

Uttam Caterers is located in the A V Shopping Centre at Mahalakshmi Char Rasta in Paldi. We are not a restaurant where you come and sit down; we are mostly a catering kitchen. Most of our work happens behind the scenes. We have a space in the shopping center where we do all our prep and cooking. It is a busy kitchen, especially during the wedding season in Ahmedabad. There are crates of vegetables coming in and big tiffins going out all the time. We spend most of our time on the phone or in the kitchen. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of washing up, chopping, and heavy lifting. We have been in Paldi for years, so we know the area and the local markets very well. Our team is a small group of people who know how to work together without talking too much. We do not have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. People just know our name from events they have attended. We focus on the logistics—getting the food to the venue on time and making sure nothing spills in the van. Sometimes the traffic at Mahalakshmi Char Rasta makes things tricky, but we have learned to plan for that. It is hard work, and the hours are often long and tiring, but it is what we do. We are just a local catering team trying to do a solid job for our customers and their families.
