Our shop is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, specifically in the 380028 area. It’s a busy neighborhood where there is always something going on. We don’t have a big, fancy storefront with glass walls; it’s more of a practical space where we focus on getting things done. The kitchen is the heart of the place, and it’s usually pretty loud with the sound of the ovens and people moving around. We have a small area for customers to wait, but most people are just passing through. The walls have a few scuffs, and the floor is worn down from all the walking, but it’s a working shop. We’ve been here for a while and have become a bit of a fixture in the local area. Most of us who work here grew up in Ahmedabad, so we know the streets and the people well. It gets really hot in the summer, so we try to keep the coolers running as best as we can. We don’t have a lot of management layers or corporate rules that we talk about all day. We just come in, get the dough ready, and start the day. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there are too many orders at once, but we just push through it. It’s a simple, honest job and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. We’re just glad to be a part of this community.
