United Restaurents Ltd.(U.S.Pizza)

We are up here on the 9th floor of the Rotal Apartments in Khanpur. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but we’ve been here in Ahmedabad for a while now. Most people know the building. United Restaurents Ltd. is the main name, but really, we just focus on the U.S. Pizza side of things. The kitchen gets hot, especially during the summer months when the sun hits the building just right. We spend our mornings getting the dough ready and checking the toppings. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a place where we get the work done. Khanpur is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming up, even way up here. We have a few tables and some staff who have been with us for years. Sometimes the delivery guys are rushing in and out, trying to beat the traffic downstairs. It’s a bit messy sometimes with the flour and the boxes, but that is just how it goes when you are making food all day. We like being in this part of Ahmedabad because it feels like the real heart of the city. You see the same faces every day. It’s a regular job for us, keeping the ovens going and making sure everything is where it should be before the evening rush starts. We don’t have a big marketing team, just a few of us here in C-12 trying to keep things moving along.
