You can find us over at Sakar Flat in the Uttam Nagar area of Maninagar. We are located in flat 205, which is part of the Chitrakut Dham complex. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a lot different than being in the middle of a big commercial district. Running a restaurant business from here means we are always busy with something, whether it’s checking on the supplies or managing the kitchen staff. The Ahmedabad heat is no joke, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the windows shaded. Our space is functional, not fancy. We have the usual kitchen equipment, some storage racks, and a small area where we handle the accounts. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and Milind Bhai Patel is usually around making sure things are going okay. We get a lot of locals who live in the surrounding flats coming by. The smells of frying onions and spices usually fill the hallway during the lunch rush. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several orders come in at once, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some high-end dining spot; we just want to cook meals that people like eating. There’s always a pile of dishes to be done and some floor that needs mopping. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it here for a while now. We just keep the kitchen going even when it's busy.
