Travel Hub

Our small office is located at 9 Luneswar Society, which is right across from the government hospital in the Vatva area of Ahmedabad. If you know this part of the city, you know it gets very busy with people coming and going from the hospital at all hours. We are also tucked right behind the Vav, which is a good landmark to tell people when they get lost looking for our door. Working at Travel Hub is not like those big fancy agencies you see in the malls. We mostly just sit here and help local people figure out their bus tickets or train bookings for their trips. The walls in here could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works fine for what we need. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually leave the front door open to catch whatever breeze comes through the society gates. The neighborhood is mostly made of families and other small shops. Sometimes the traffic noise from the main road makes it a bit hard to hear the phone ringing, but you get used to that after a week or two. We have been here in Vatva for a good bit of time now, and we know most of the people who walk past our shop every morning. It is a very simple setup with just a couple of desks and some old calendars. We do not have any big speeches. We just come in and work.
