Trans Gangetic Travels

We are up here on the 6th floor of Shriji Palace in Ahmedabad. Navrangpura is a really crowded part of town, especially with Navrang School right next door. You can hear the kids shouting and playing most mornings when the windows are open. It’s just how it is around here. We’ve been running Trans Gangetic Travels from this office for a while now. It isn’t some fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything. It’s just a regular workspace where we handle travel bookings and talk to people about where they want to go. Some days the lift is a bit slow, and we end up waiting around, but we get used to it. The 603 office number is easy to find once you get inside the building and head up. We spend most of our time on the phones or looking at schedules on our screens. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the summer, so the AC stays on all day if we can help it. We deal with all sorts of travelers, some who know exactly what they want and others who are totally lost. We just try to get the paperwork done right and make sure people have their tickets in hand. It’s busy work, but it keeps us going. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We don’t do much fancy stuff, just keep the files organized and keep things moving every day. It’s a decent place to work.
