We are tucked away in 301, Rajvaibhav Apartments. It is near the Sudama Resorts in the Pritamnagar area of Ellis Bridge. This isn't the big main building for The Times Of India that you might expect to see. It is a smaller local office where we handle the daily ground stuff for this part of Ahmedabad. The apartment building is quiet, which is nice compared to the busy streets nearby. We have a lot of stacks of paper and people coming in and out to sort things out throughout the day. It feels more like a home office than a corporate floor. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the work we do. Most of the time we are just coordinating things for the newspaper. We deal with the logistics and the local bits that keep things moving behind the scenes. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs to save time. We've been in this Pritamnagar spot for a while now. Everyone knows the landmark near Sudama Resorts, so it's not hard to explain where we are located. We just focus on getting the tasks done every day without much fuss. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists of names. We don't really do the flashy stuff here, just the practical side of the business that keeps the paper going.
