The Pride Hotel

Our place is situated at 5, Mangal Vihar Society, right on Anand Mahal Road in the Adajan area of Surat. It is a very lively part of town with plenty of shops and people around at all hours. The hotel itself is a straightforward building, and we’ve been here for a good while. We spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and making sure the lobby looks presentable for anyone checking in. The traffic on Anand Mahal Road can get quite noisy, especially in the evenings, but inside it’s usually calm enough. We have a small team here and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phones to helping with the luggage. The lobby has a few sofas that have seen better days, but they are comfortable for a short wait. We get a mix of business travelers and families visiting relatives in Surat. The local tea stalls nearby are great, and we often send guests over there if they want a real local taste. Cleaning is a big part of the day, especially with the dust that comes off the busy road outside. We don't have a massive fancy restaurant, just a simple dining area where people can eat their meals. It’s a practical, local hotel run by people who live nearby. We just try to make sure the lights are on, the water is hot, and everyone has what they need for a decent stay.
