The Pride Hotel

The Pride Hotel is right here at 229 Prem Chand Nagar. We sit on Judges Bunglow Road in Ahmedabad. It is a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our doors. People come and go all day long. Some are travelers who need a bed, and others are just here for a quick meeting in the lobby. We spend a lot of time keeping the place looking decent. It isn't always easy because the city can be quite dusty. The sun hits the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we keep the fans and the cooling going. The staff here has been around for a while. We know which tea stall has the best chai down the street. It’s not a complicated life. We show up, we check people in, and we make sure the rooms are ready. Sometimes the traffic on Judges Bunglow Road gets really backed up, especially in the evenings, but we are used to the noise by now. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying heavy bags, but we help out when we can. The paint on the outside is starting to fade a little from the Ahmedabad sun, but that is just how it goes with buildings around here. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place in the world, just a reliable spot on this specific corner.
