The Pride Hotel

We are located at Ashok Plaza, number 105, which is right near Maitri Avenue in the Motera area of Ahmedabad. It's a busy part of the city, especially when there is something going on at the big stadium nearby. The hotel is a straightforward place. We have the lobby on the ground floor where people check in and out all day. It’s not the biggest hotel you’ve ever seen, but we keep the rooms tidy and the sheets fresh. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been here a few years. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the bathrooms are okay. The elevator makes a bit of a noise sometimes but it gets you where you need to go. In the mornings, the smell of breakfast moves through the halls, usually poha or something similar. We get a mix of business people and families staying here. It can get pretty loud in the plaza outside with all the cars and bikes, but inside it’s mostly fine. We don't have a huge swimming pool or anything like that. It’s just a place for people to sleep and have a shower while they are in town. We try to be helpful if someone asks for directions to the market. It’s just a regular hotel run by regular people who want to do a decent job every day.
