The Chocolate Room is located right there in Gaumtipur, Ahmedabad, just across from Usha Cinema. It’s a busy spot at 15/16 Vakil'S Chawl. You can usually find us there early in the morning getting things ready. It isn't a massive corporate headquarters; it’s more of a place where we focus on making different chocolate items and serving whoever walks in. The area around the chawl is always loud with people talking and scooters zooming by. Inside, it’s a bit calmer, but we are always moving around. We have mixers, ovens, and a lot of cocoa powder everywhere. The staff here are mostly local folks who know the neighborhood well. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look like a high-end boutique. It’s more about keeping the kitchen clean and getting the orders out to the tables or into boxes. On some days, the smell of melted chocolate is so strong you can notice it from the street. We deal with a lot of regular customers who stop by after seeing a movie at the cinema nearby. It’s a small operation, really. We just try to keep the fridge stocked and the coffee machine working. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big group comes in, but we manage. We’ve been at this location for some time now and it feels like home to us.
