The Akshaya Patra Foundation

You can find The Akshaya Patra Foundation over at E-10 in the Keshav Apartment building. We’re located right near Talavadi in the Memnagar area of Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re familiar with the neighborhood. Our space here is quite modest. It’s just a few rooms where we handle the coordination and the paperwork for everything we do. It’s not one of those big, corporate headquarters you see in the movies. It’s just a functional office with some desks, a lot of folders, and people constantly on their phones or checking lists. The area around Memnagar is usually buzzing with people, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been here for a while and the locals generally know where E-10 is. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning, drink some tea, and get through the tasks for the day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have volunteers or visitors coming in, but we make do with the space we have. It feels like a real community spot rather than just a workplace. We keep things simple and try to stay organized, even when the schedules get a little messy. It’s just how we operate day to day.
