Thakur Food

Our place is at Plot No. 31 in Sector 4. It’s an industrial area, so it gets pretty busy with trucks and people moving around all day. We started Thakur Food because we wanted to do something local and useful. We handle a lot of the basic food stuff that people around here need for their kitchens. It’s mostly just us working in the back, making sure everything is clean and ready. The morning starts early, usually before the sun is really up, to get the batches started before the heat hits. It can get a bit loud with the machinery running, but that's just how it is in this sector. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It's a small team, mostly just family and a few neighbors who’ve been with us since we first opened the doors. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look polished. Most of our time goes into the actual physical work. Some days are harder than others, especially when the power goes out or a delivery is late, but we manage to get by. We’ve been in this same spot for years and the neighbors all know us by name. We just try to do an honest job and keep the food supply moving. It’s simple work, really. You show up, you do the work, and you go home. That’s how we’ve always run things here in Sector 4.
