Tandoor Palace Restaurant

We've been over here in Sultanganj, Patna for a while now. Running Tandoor Palace Restaurant keeps us pretty busy every day of the week. Most people around here know where we are. It’s just a normal place where we cook and serve food to anyone who walks through the door. Some days it gets really loud and crowded, especially in the evenings, but that is just how it goes in India. We try to keep the tables clean and the food hot. There isn't anything fancy about it. We just open up in the morning, get the ovens going, and start preparing whatever is on the menu. A lot of locals stop by after work or on their way home. My family helps out a lot too. Dealing with suppliers for fresh ingredients can be a headache sometimes because traffic in Patna is never easy. But we manage. The building isn't brand new or anything like that, but it does the job. We like being part of this neighborhood. It feels right to be working here. If you are ever walking around this part of town, you will see our sign. We don't spend much time on the internet or anything, we just stay focused on the kitchen. It is hard work, standing on your feet all day, but seeing people eat and talk makes the time pass by. That’s pretty much us and what we do.
