Standards

Our place, Standards, is over at B/71, Nandanvan-1 in the Jodhpur area of Satellite. Ahmedabad-15 is a busy part of the city to be in. We are situated in a residential block, so it feels a lot more like a home than a stiff office. The Nandanvan-1 buildings have been around for a bit, and we like being part of the Jodhpur locality. It’s mostly quiet during the day until the schools let out nearby. We have a small sign out front so people can find us, but mostly it's just the neighbors walking their dogs. Inside, we have set up our workspace with whatever furniture we could get to fit. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. We don't have a big fancy reception desk or anything. Usually, if someone comes by, they just knock and one of us will get up to answer. The Satellite area is great because there are plenty of places to get lunch just a short walk away. We spend a lot of our time on the phones or typing away on our computers. It’s a practical way to run things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big corporate look. We just want to get the work done and go home to our families. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of office life here at B/71.
