Spices Tiffin Services is based in Rudra Plaza, right on Judges Bunglow Road. Being near Madhur Dairy means we see a lot of people coming and going all day. We started this because we noticed how many people in Bodakdev are too busy to cook a proper lunch for themselves. It isn't a massive operation. It’s mostly just us in the kitchen, chopping vegetables and getting the rotis ready. We use simple tiffin boxes, nothing high-tech. Every morning is a bit of a scramble to get the packing done before the delivery guys head out. Sometimes a bike breaks down or someone is late, and we have to figure it out on the fly. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy signs. Most of our customers are office workers nearby or students who miss home food. We try to keep the menu simple, just the kind of stuff you’d eat at your own table. The kitchen gets messy, and there’s always a pile of dishes to be done, but that’s part of the job. We keep a handwritten list of who wants what, and we try our best not to mix up the vegetarian and special requests. It's a modest business, but it keeps us busy from dawn until the afternoon when the last tiffin is picked up. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now and know the regulars by name. It feels good to see the same people every day.
