Singapore Airlines Pvt. Ltd At Ahmedabad Airport

We work for Singapore Airlines Pvt. Ltd At Ahmedabad Airport, but our local base is at M-5-8-58 in Shashtrinagar, Naranpura. This is where we handle a lot of the administrative stuff and where some of the staff stays or meets up. Ahmedabad is a hot city, so our office is a place to get out of the sun and get some work done. We are not the ones flying the planes, obviously. We are the ones on the ground making sure the paperwork is correct and the schedules are followed. The address in Shashtrinagar is a quiet residential area, which is a nice change from the loud noise at the airport. We spend our time on the phone or responding to emails about cargo and passenger lists. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't use corporate speak or try to sound like a big international company when we are here. We are just a bunch of people in Gujarat doing a job. Some of us have been working here for years and we know the airport layout like the back of our hands. We take the bus or drive our scooters to the airport for our shifts. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s important. We don't have a fancy mission; we just want to make sure the flights leave on time and everything is handled properly. It’s just how we spend our days and nights.
