Our shop is situated right behind Anjali Cinema in Vasna. It is a busy spot, especially with the petrol pump right across from us. We have been handling food orders here for quite some time now. The kitchen is where we spend most of our hours, especially when there is a big gathering to feed. It is not a quiet job. There is always the sound of knives or the stove going. We started out small and stayed that way because we like to keep an eye on everything ourselves. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs food for a function, they usually just drop by or call us. We handle all the grocery shopping ourselves at the local markets early in the morning. Vasna is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we have to be careful with our work. If we make a mistake, the whole neighborhood hears about it soon enough. We use the space here to store our big vessels and the gas cylinders. Sometimes the smell of spices is quite strong near the petrol pump area. We don't have a fancy website. Most of our day is spent making sure the rice is right or the vegetables are chopped thin. It is a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the boxes are packed. We just stay focused on the kitchen and the orders we have for the day. It is honest work and it keeps us very busy.
