Shiv Sagar Food Products

We are located in Naroda GIDC, Phase 1, specifically at units C1/11 and 177/6. If you know the area, we are right opposite Ingersoll Rand and quite close to where the old Samrat Namkeen used to be. This is a purely industrial part of town, so it’s always busy and a bit loud. Shiv Sagar Food Products is where we make and pack our various food items. It’s a lot of physical work. We have workers who spend their whole shift sorting, frying, and getting things into bags. The smell of hot oil and snacks is pretty much constant here. It’s not a place for a fancy office; our administrative area is just a simple room with some chairs and old-fashioned registers. We still do a lot of things by hand because it feels more reliable that way. We know many of the other owners in GIDC. If someone’s machine breaks down, we often help each other out. It’s a hardworking community. We aren't interested in becoming some massive global brand. We just want to make sure the food we produce is good and that our people are looked after. Some days are really hectic when we have big orders to finish, but we just put our heads down and get through it. That’s the way life is in Naroda. We’ve been here for many years and we’re just part of the local landscape now.
