Shiv Caterers

We've been running Shiv Caterers out of our place at Shivalay Apartment in the Gujarat Housing Board area for a while now. Naranpura is where we mostly work, and it’s a busy neighborhood. Usually, it’s just us handling the cooking and getting everything ready for local functions. People around here know where to find us in L/140/1669. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a spot where we get the work done. We started this because we liked making food for weddings and small get-togethers. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there are three orders on the same day, but we manage. My cousin helps out with the transport, and my wife looks after the recipes. We don't have a big website or a marketing team. If someone needs food, they usually just walk in or call someone who knows us. It’s been this way for years. The kitchen gets hot in the summer, but that’s part of the job. We try to keep things simple and make sure the salt is right and the food is hot when it reaches the venue. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we’re still here in the same block. It's a living, you know? We just focus on the next order and making sure the containers are clean. Nothing too complicated about it. We're just locals doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, for the people who live near us.
