Shekhar Tours & Travels

I’ve been running Shekhar Tours & Travels for a while now from our spot in Vasant Vihar Shopping Center. It’s Shop Number 19, right on Kathwada Road in Nava Naroda. If you know where Maheshwari Society is, we are just across from there. People around here usually drop by when they need to figure out a trip or book a vehicle. We don’t have some big fancy office with glass walls, just a regular space where we sit down and look at calendars. Most of the time, I'm just on the phone checking routes or talking to drivers. Ahmedabad is a busy place, and Nava Naroda has changed quite a bit lately. We try to keep things simple. You come in, tell us where you need to go, and we see what's available. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and we just talk about the traffic on Kathwada Road. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and the regulars who have been using us for years. I don’t use any fancy software for everything, sometimes just a pen and a notebook works better for keeping track of things. It gets a bit noisy outside with all the cars, but that’s just how it is near the shopping center. If you are around Nava Naroda and need to move some people or plan a quick getaway, you can find us easily enough. We keep the doors open and the fans going all day long.
