Shah Resort

Shah Resort is a place we’ve been running for a bit now. Even though the address on our registration looks like a jumble of letters, we are actually located in a spot that’s a bit tucked away from the main noise. Running a resort is mostly about making sure the grass is cut and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. It’s not always easy because things break down and you have to find someone to fix them quickly. We aren’t some big chain hotel with a thousand rules. It’s just us here, trying to keep the place looking decent and welcoming. Most of our days are spent checking the supplies and making sure the kitchen has what it needs for the guests. Sometimes we get groups coming in for a party, and other times it’s just quiet for a few days. We like the quiet times because it gives us a chance to sit on the porch and just breathe for a minute. The staff we have are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We don't do much advertising; people usually hear about us from their friends or family. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes to keep everything perfect, but we do what we can with what we have. We aren't looking to become some massive resort, we just want to keep the doors open and the rooms clean.
