Being located in Gangadhia’S Pole near Sankdisari in Manekchowk, things get pretty busy around here. Shah Investors Home Ltd is right in the middle of all that old city energy. The roads are narrow, and sometimes it's hard for people to find the door, but we’ve been here at 532/2 for quite some time. It’s an old building, nothing like those glass towers you see in the newer parts of Ahmedabad. We spend our days looking at numbers and talking to folks who come in to figure out their money stuff. Sometimes the tea guy comes by three times a morning because the conversations go long. It’s noisy outside with all the scooters and people walking by, but inside we just focus on the paperwork. It’s not a glamorous job, sitting at a desk with files piled up, but it keeps us busy. We know most of the neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby. People come in with questions about their savings or what to do next with their finances. We just give it to them straight. No fancy brochures or big talk. Just a bunch of us in a crowded office trying to make sure the math adds up at the end of the day. It’s how things have always been done in this part of town, and we’re fine with that. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk in the dark until it finally comes back on.
