Satguru Travels And Tours Service is located near Akta Tower in Ahmedabad. It’s a small place on the ground floor where we help people figure out their travel plans. We’ve been here in Gujarat for quite some time now. The office is usually cluttered with travel brochures, bus timetables, and stacks of ticket books. It’s not a very large space, just enough for a couple of desks and some chairs for customers to sit while we look up prices. The phones ring quite a bit, mostly people asking about train timings or the cost of a tour to the nearby temples. We don’t have a big website or a call center. It’s just us answering the phone and writing things down in our ledger. The area around Akta Tower is always moving, so there is plenty of noise from the street. We try to keep things simple for the people who come in to see us. Sometimes we have to spend hours on the phone trying to confirm a booking, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t make big promises about luxury or anything, we just try to get you a seat on the bus or a room in a decent hotel. It’s a straightforward business, and we like the fact that we get to talk to so many different people every day.
