Sarovar Portico Ahmedabad

We are sitting here at number 39 in the Harishkunj Society. This is in Vejalpur, which is a pretty well-known part of Ahmedabad. Even though the name Sarovar Portico sounds like a big hotel, this specific spot in the society is where some of our local coordination happens. It is a residential area, so it is a bit different from being in a commercial building. We have neighbors who are families, and you can see kids playing in the lanes sometimes. Our office is just a regular house that we use for our daily business. It has got walls and a door like any other place on the street. We do not have a big neon sign or anything like that. People in Vejalpur are friendly, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the society over the years. We handle the messages and the scheduling from here. It gets a bit noisy during the festivals when the whole society comes together, but we like the energy. We have a couple of rooms set up with desks and some filing cabinets for our records. It is a practical way to work without being stuck in a high-rise. We just come in every morning, do our work, and head home like everyone else. There is no corporate polish here, just people doing their jobs in a quiet neighborhood.
