Sakti Scrap Traders

We have been running Sakti Scrap Traders for a good while now from our yard over at 4/76, Ambica Nagar. It is tucked away in the Satyam Nagar area, quite close to the Nagarwel Hanuman temple on Amraiwadi Road. If you know that landmark, you can find us pretty easily. The yard is usually full of all sorts of metal bits, old pipes, and iron scraps that people bring in from around Ahmedabad. It is a noisy place and gets quite dusty during the dry months, but that is just how the scrap business works. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a small desk where we weigh things and sort out the payments. My cousins and a few local guys help me move the heavy stuff and load the trucks when they come to pick up the sorted materials. We spend most of our day outside in the heat, making sure everything is stacked properly so it does not fall over. We are just regular people doing a regular job. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or small workshops nearby that have leftover metal they do not need anymore. We do not do much talking, we just get the work done and keep the place moving. It is hard work on the back and hands, but it has been our way of life for years now. If you pass by, you will likely see us sorting through a new pile.
