Reliance

Our place is at 367, Harish Chandra Nagar, right near Sumin Park. We are out on Vatral Road in the Vastral area of Ahmedabad. It's a big name on the sign, but here on the ground, it's just a few of us working in this specific branch. We handle a lot of different things, mostly helping people with their accounts or showing them products they’ve seen in the news. The floor is usually busy with people coming in from the neighborhood. We spend our day explaining how things work or fixing issues with services. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of patience. The air conditioning is always running because it gets so hot in Vastral during the summer. We have a routine of checking the stock and making sure the displays aren't too messy. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s a local spot where people come because it’s convenient for them. We know most of the regulars who live in the nearby societies. Sometimes the queue gets long and people have to wait, so we try to move as fast as the computers allow. We have some chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It's just a steady stream of work from the time we open until we pull the shutters down at night. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get through the daily list of things to do as a team.
