We operate out of Delhi. It's a big, crowded city and we're right in the middle of it all. Working with life insurance means we spend a lot of time with paperwork and talking to people about their plans. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do every day. The office is usually full of the sound of typing and phones ringing. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just sit at our desks and process the claims and the new policies that come across. Delhi is always moving fast outside our windows, but inside we try to keep things orderly. It’s a lot of data entry and checking numbers over and over. We have a small break room where we drink tea and talk about the weekend. The commute here can be a real pain with the traffic, but we all make it in. We don’t use fancy language to describe the policies. We just explain the terms as they are written on the page. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes people are stressed when they call, so we just listen and try to help with the forms. We’ve been at this for a while now and have seen the city change quite a bit from our office. The office has old gray carpets and some plants that we forget to water. We try to keep up with the rules.
