Our place, Ramdev Food Products Pvt. Ltd., is situated out near the Bavla Highway in Chamodar. Being close to the highway is actually very helpful for getting things in and out quickly. You can hear the trucks passing by all day and night from our facility. Chamodar is a quiet enough place until you get near the main road. We do a lot of food processing here, so it’s always active. There are no fancy lobbies or glass walls here, just floors where the work happens. We focus on getting the food products ready and out to where they need to go. It gets dusty sometimes because of the highway traffic, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of us have been working here for a while and we know the routine by heart now. We aren't much for talking about ourselves; we just prefer to stay busy with the machines and the packaging. If you are driving on the Bavla Highway, you are probably passing right by us without even realizing it. We like being in Chamodar because it gives us the space we need for our operations. It's an honest living and we take it one day at a time. The heat can be tough during the middle of the day, but we just keep the fans going and stay hydrated. It’s a practical setup for a food business like ours and it suits our needs perfectly fine for now.
