Raj National Express

Raj National Express is tucked away in the Surmay Apartments, right over in the Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. It’s near Jaymangal Society, so if you know that landmark, you can find us without much trouble. We operate out of unit 11/124. It’s more of a functional space than anything else. There are always papers on the desks and the phone usually rings when you’re right in the middle of something else. Being in an apartment complex means we see the same neighbors every morning. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit now. Ahmedabad gets really hot, so we usually have the fan going full speed all day. The buses are the main thing, even if the office is small. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the schedules aren't too messed up. It’s a lot of coordination, and sometimes things get delayed because of the traffic on the main roads near Naranpura. We don’t have a big lobby or fancy water dispensers. Usually, we just grab a bottle from the fridge. People come in to ask about tickets or just to complain about the heat. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay organized. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but it works for us.
