Qatar Airways

We are situated at 27, Drive-In Tenaments, right behind the Drive-In Cinema on Thaltej Road. It’s an easy spot to find if you know where the cinema is, located right opposite the Goyalintercity Row Houses. We work for Qatar Airways from here, but it’s more of an office for handling the local side of things in Ahmedabad. We don’t have airplanes parked outside on the street, obviously. It’s just us and our computers, talking to people about their travel plans or fixing issues with their flight bookings. The office is in a residential-looking area, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a downtown skyscraper. We get people stopping by who are heading to the cinema or living in the row houses nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and a whole lot of paper. Sometimes we have to wait on the line with the main office for a long time to get an answer, but that’s just part of the job. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused and try to keep the files organized. The neighborhood is pretty active, especially in the evenings when the movie crowds show up. We’ve been at this Gujarat location for some time now and it’s become our second home. It’s a straightforward operation where we just focus on getting the details right for whoever comes in. We aren't trying to be anything other than an office for travelers.
