Makarba is a busy area, especially with all the transport companies around. We are situated in the industrial part of it, right in Sarkhej. Being near Harish Transport Company is handy because we see trucks moving in and out all day long. Our work is all about food. We have a unit here where we process and pack things. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of some machine or the clatter of crates being moved around. The air in Sarkhej can be a bit heavy, but we have high ceilings in the unit to keep it airy. We are a small group of people working together. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk or bike in. We don't have a fancy lobby or reception. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor checking the batches or loading up a delivery. We deal with a lot of raw ingredients, so we have to be careful about how things are stored. It gets busy during the harvest seasons when more stuff comes in at once. We just put our heads down and get through the work. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be the biggest; we just want to make sure the food we send out is handled properly. It’s a lot of manual work, but it’s what we know how to do.
