Pride Hotel

You can find us at 82, Paras Kunj Soci, which is right near the Umiyavijay Busstand in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. We call ourselves Pride Hotel. Being so close to the busstand means there is always something going on outside. People are coming and going at all hours. Our building isn't the tallest on the block, but it serves its purpose. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we first opened our doors. We don’t really go for the corporate look. The lobby has some chairs and maybe a newspaper from yesterday on the table. We think it makes the place feel more like home. Ahmedabad is a fast city, but we try to keep things at a human pace here. We don’t have a list of core values on the wall or anything like that. We just want to make sure people have a bed and a roof when they visit us. Sometimes the elevator makes a bit of noise, and the street traffic can be loud during the day, but we’ve gotten used to it. We like being in the Satellite area because it’s a good mix of residential and business life. If you’re looking for a spot that isn't too fussy, that's us. We just show up every day, do the cleaning, and wait for the next person to arrive. It is just a basic place.
