Prerana Caterers

Prerana Caterers is based out of 1/6 Shree Ram Park in the Nava Wadaj area. We are really close to the Kiran Park bus stop, so there are always people waiting around or walking past our door. Our space in Wadaj is where all the big cooking happens. You can usually smell the spices and the steam from the street. We have these massive pots and burners that take up most of the room. It’s not a quiet job, there is always someone chopping vegetables or washing out the big metal containers we use for transport. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighbors in Shree Ram Park are used to our early morning starts. Sometimes we are loading up the vans at four in the morning when the rest of the street is still asleep. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and the kitchen gets incredibly hot in the summer months. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have our kitchen and our hands. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know us or have seen us working at events nearby. We keep things simple and just try to get the food delivered on time. It's a tough business but we are used to the long hours and the constant cleaning that comes with it. That's how we spend our time every day.
