Prakashbhai Pav Bhaji Llp

We’re based in Shop-6 at Shivanjalli Apartment in the Lalita Park Society. It’s right in the heart of Surat City. Pav Bhaji is what we’re known for around here. It’s a small shop, but it gets very busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out looking for a snack. We’ve been doing this for a while, and it’s a lot of chopping vegetables and mashing everything together on the big flat griddle. The smell of the spices usually drifts out into the street. We don't have fancy decor or air conditioning; it’s just a regular local spot where you can get a hot plate of food. We have a few tables out front, and people often just stand around and eat. It’s noisy and crowded, but that’s the way a good Pav Bhaji place should be. We know most of our regulars by face if not by name. My brother and I run the show, and we have a couple of guys helping with the dishes and the serving. Sometimes we run out of butter or bread and someone has to run to the store, but we usually stay ahead of it. It’s hard on the feet, standing over the heat all night, but we like seeing people enjoy the food. If you’re in Lalita Park, just look for the crowd and the steam. We’re there every day, just doing what we do for the neighborhood folks.
