Pizza Corner,Ahmedabad

If you head over to Bopal in Ahmedabad, specifically near the Sarkari Tube-Well, you’ll find us in the Shreevan Apartments at unit 302. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when everyone gets home from work and doesn't feel like cooking. The smell of baking dough usually drifts out into the hallway. We spend most of our time stretching out crusts, chopping up vegetables, and making sure the ovens are at the right temperature. It’s a lot of manual work. We aren't a big international chain with fancy uniforms and scripted greetings. We’re just local people making pizza for our neighbors. The delivery bikes are always coming and going from the front of the apartments, and the phone rings pretty much constantly during the dinner rush. Sometimes we get the orders mixed up or the delivery takes a bit longer because of the traffic on the main Bopal roads, but we try to get it sorted. Our kitchen isn't huge, so we have to stay really organized to keep things moving. We use simple ingredients and just follow the recipes we’ve been using for a while now. People know they can just call us up or walk in and get something to eat without any fuss. It’s a noisy, hot, and busy place, but that’s just how a pizza shop should be. We enjoy being a part of this little corner of Ahmedabad.
