Pantaloon Retail India Ltd.

We’ve been based out of the New Textile Mill Compound near Raipur Darwaja Bahar for a good while now. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the summer, and this old building doesn’t always stay as cool as we’d like, but it’s where we do our work. Being in the textile district means there is always a lot of movement. Trucks are coming in and out, people are carrying bundles of fabric, and there’s that constant hum of machinery in the background. It isn’t a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have desks piled with papers and some samples hanging around from Pantaloon Retail India Ltd. Most days, we are just trying to keep up with the inventory and making sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, or the rain makes the roads outside a mess, but that is just part of being in this part of the city. We know the tea stall guy around the corner by name, and he knows how we like our chai. It’s a busy life here in 380022. We aren’t trying to change the world; we’re just getting the retail shipments sorted and making sure the business keeps ticking over day by day. It gets loud and dusty, but it’s our spot and we just get on with it.
