Pantaloon Retail (I) Ltd (Future Group)

Our place is located at 27/A/8 in the Old Municipal Quarters, right on Jagannathji Mandir Road in Behrampura. This is an old part of Ahmedabad, and you can feel it in the air. The road is always crowded, especially when there are festivals at the temple. We are part of the Future Group, but this specific location feels more like a local warehouse or back-office than a big corporate headquarters. We deal with a lot of retail stock, so there are always boxes being moved around and inventory lists being checked. The building is older, with high ceilings and those heavy fans that click as they spin. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. We spend our time counting items, labeling things, and making sure the deliveries are ready for the stores. It’s physical work and your back starts to ache by the end of the shift. We don't have fancy break rooms; we just sit on some crates and have our lunch. The staff knows the neighborhood well, and we often grab snacks from the vendors near the mandir. It’s a bit of a messy, busy environment, but that’s just how retail logistics goes. We just keep the boxes moving and try to stay on top of the numbers every single day. There is always a new shipment arriving just as we finish the last one.
