Our office is in Ghodasar, situated in the Annapurna Society at K-1. We are right across the street from the Post Office on Cadila Road, which makes us pretty easy to find if you know the area. It’s a busy little corner of Ahmedabad. We spend most of our hours booking tickets and looking at travel schedules on our old computers. It can get quite crowded in here when a whole family comes in to plan a trip. We have brochures all over the place and a lot of registers where we write everything down. It is not a sleek, modern office. It is more of a practical space where we get things done. The road outside is often under construction, so there is usually a bit of dust coming in through the door. We don't have fancy leather chairs for customers, just some plastic ones that do the job. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a while to confirm a booking. We just chat with the customers while we wait for the screen to load. Most of the people who come to us are regulars from the society or nearby streets. We know most of them by name. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of branches. We are just this one office trying to help people get where they need to go without too much trouble. It is a lot of routine work, but we enjoy it.
