Pakvan Dining Hall Bodakdev

Our place is over in Bodakdev, specifically in the Circle B building. If you know the area, it's right near Judges Bunglow Road and not far from the SG Highway. That highway is always jammed with cars, especially in the evenings. We see a lot of people who are just passing through or folks who live in the apartments around here. The dining hall gets busy, especially on the weekends. We spend a lot of time just making sure there’s enough room for everyone to sit. It’s a lot of work, keeping everything running. The kitchen is always hot. We’ve got a small team here. Sometimes we're short-handed if someone goes home for a festival, so we all have to pitch in and do different jobs. It’s not some big corporate operation. It’s just us. We deal with the usual stuff like late deliveries or a tap that won’t stop leaking. People come in, they eat, and they go about their day. We don’t have much time for small talk when it’s peak hours. You can see the highway lights from the front. It’s a decent spot. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know where we are. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple setup and that’s how we like to keep it.
