Abhilasha Restaurant

Our place is called Abhilasha Restaurant, and you can find us at Ronak Complex on the first floor. We are near Panjra Pole and right across from Kamdhenu Complex in Ambavadi. This part of town, with the 380015 zip code, is where we’ve set up shop. It’s a busy corner of Ahmedabad, and being upstairs gives us a little bit of a break from the street level chaos. We are just a local restaurant where you can get a regular meal. We don't do anything too fancy or use complicated ingredients. It’s just the kind of food we grew up eating and knowing how to cook. The stairs up to the first floor can be a little steep, but plenty of people make the trip every day. We don't have a big corporate office or a PR person. It’s just us, the stove, and the customers. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud or we run out of a certain dish early, but that's just how a real kitchen works. We like being in Ambavadi. It’s got a good energy to it. Most people who come in are from the nearby offices or shops. They just want a place to sit for thirty minutes and eat. We provide that. Nothing more and nothing less. It’s a plain, honest spot. We just keep the place running day in and day out without much fuss.
