Airport Residency

You can find Airport Residency right at the Airport Circle in Ahmedabad. We are situated directly opposite the big Taj Residency hotel, which is much fancier than us. Our place is smaller and more modest. The circle is a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of cars and rickshaws zooming past. We have been here for a good number of years now. The hotel is a basic structure with rooms that people book when they have an early flight or just landed. It gets very hot in Ahmedabad, so we try to keep the fans and coolers going as much as possible. The rooms are simple and the decor is nothing special. We have a small desk at the entrance where we keep the ledger. The staff is usually around to help with luggage or to call a taxi for the airport. The building has seen a lot of people come and go. It’s a practical spot for someone who doesn't want to spend too much but wants to be close to the terminal. The tiles in the hallway are a bit worn down from all the footsteps over the years. We don't have a big menu or anything, just the basics. It’s a straightforward place to stay near the airport without any fuss. We just keep things running the best we can every day.
