Opal Travels Pvt Ltd is located at 79, Sunset Row House in Gurukul. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads of Gujarat. Being in a row house gives us a bit of a different vibe than a regular office. It feels a lot more like a community here. We handle travel bookings and itineraries, mostly just sitting around our desks and chatting with whoever walks in. We aren't the type of place that has a big shiny lobby. We have our files, our computers, and usually a few maps lying around. We don’t really go in for those polished marketing scripts. We just tell people what’s available and what the costs are. It’s very plain and simple. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside while we’re trying to finish a booking, but that’s just life in a row house. We like being in Gurukul because it’s a familiar place for us. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local shops and where to get the best snacks. The work isn't always exciting—there's a lot of waiting on hold and checking schedules—but it's what we do. We don't have a grand vision, just a daily routine of helping people get from one place to another. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a flight or a bus route.
